Testing FKA twigs Music Knowledge | Track Star*

FKA twigs joins the game show to dig into the songs that have shaped her as an artist, performer, and the music she turns to when she wants to switch off. She talks about why she avoids listening to music that reminds her of her own work and instead looks for songs that take her somewhere else entirely. As the playlist unfolds, she reflects on growing up around jazz fusion, funk and Latin music (including sneaking into salsa clubs with her mother when she was eight) and how those early sounds shaped her ear long before she began making music herself.
