Testing CMAT's Music Knowledge | Track Star*

Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson (more commonly known as CMAT), a self-proclaimed "global celebrity teen pop sensation", graces us with her presence on the music game show today. Over the course of her three albums, she has risen from quirky Irish pop-country queen to inevitably, a full-on festival phenomenon. Most notably this year, she blew Glastonbury away performing on their Pyramid Stage in June 2025, firmly cementing herself as the breakout star of the year. If you've been to one of her live gigs, you'll know that her live performances will turn even a CMAT skeptic into a fanatic by the end, dancing the "Dunboyne two-step" with strangers and somehow leaving adorned with a cowboy hat they did not arrive with.
In her most recent critically acclaimed album "Euro-Country"; sharp humor often sits right alongside something genuinely profound and despite the Irish-isms, the emotion penetrates through and has been felt by listeners worldwide. Enjoy this episode with the Dunboyne Diana - we certainly did.
