Testing Adam Scott's Music Knowledge | Track Star*

Adam Scott is one of the most recognizable faces in both comedy and drama, moving seamlessly between the deadpan brilliance of Parks and Rec and the satisfying intensity of Severance. While his acting range is well-documented, his deep-seated obsession with music history and the indie-rock canon is what brings him to Track Star today. We dive into a playlist that spans the foundational rock of The Rolling Stones and the niche fandom of The Grateful Dead. We touch on the mid-2000s cool of The Strokes, and the noodling melodies signature to Steely Dan.

Beyond the music, Adam shares his experiences navigating the chaos of Coachella and he offers a look into his creative process, reflecting on the tonal shift between performing in cult-classic comedies versus high-stakes dramas.
